How will you die?
I found this "How will you die?" survey while reading some blogs today. I am not much of a "click through" person but I thought this questionnaire interesting. Turns out I am most likely to die by gunshot wound (80% chance) … and natural causes after that (60% chance.) Overall, a strong possibility of a violent death for yours truly. Wasn’t expecting that! The person who did the survey must think I (1) live in the US and/or (2) am someone famous and controversial. Both, I guess, would increase my chances of being shot but neither are true. A funny comment sent to me privately by on of my readers:
“I was interested in your latest post. Imagine, you have a 33% chance of dieing by being eaten, and a 13% chance of death by disappearing. I wonder what that’s like – death by disappearing, that is. Do you think it’s brought on by too much dieting?”
well, i will be ‘disappearing’, if you don’t mind. not too shabby if you believe in the rapture!

Wow, that’s a “happy’ thought! I won’t be murdered, but I’ll scare the pants off of whoever finds me, as I’ll be cold, purple and icky.
Reminds me of the old joke that say “When I die I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather. Not yelling and screaming like his passengers.”
Dead is dead. Kiss your kids a lot. It is never nice.
