Many read Tess’ post on Sebastian’s knee. I will now tell you what ended up happening at the Tuesday morning follow-up appointment. This is Hong

Tantalizing Tess left today for her grandfather’s funeral. Sombre moods. I am sitting at our computer sipping a glass of white wine. It’s about 11
thanks! i could take some beach time right now. the vicarious dip was nice. fun to hear your voice too.
i remember being about 5 or 6 ans looking across the atlantic and wondering if there was a little girl on the other side looking back wondering. thanks for the memory:)
what a wonderful, peaceful break. it almost makes up for having to travel away from the menagerie. almost.
i know what you mean about the smell of the sea. i grew up near the gulf of mexico and now i live in a land-locked city. whenever i go back to someplace near shore the first thing i notice is the smell. the salt and mangroves and algae that i didn’t even notice as a child almost hit me like a brick and bring back a flood of memories.
safe travels.
Thanks for a much needed ocean moment! I’m a misplaced coastal girl stuck on the prairie. As a child, I could hear the surf from my bedroom window & to this day, there’s nothing more soothing.
Charles, I loved this blog. It was so nice to see you and I know how much you love the ocean/water. Trusting some sleep will fit into your schedule soon.
Much love, M xox
